Hi there, thanks for dropping by -- my name is Stan Yarramunua and I'm an Aboriginal artist based in Australia.
About twenty years ago I began my art by selling my paintings, didgeridoos and clap sticks at markets and galleries.
Other family members needed help selling their artwork and creations (didgeridoos, boomerangs, clap sticks and paintings), so I decided to help by representing them – from the areas of Mildura and Robinvale.
Each Friday I’d travel to the to the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne, and sell whatever I had on Saturday and Sunday. Over time I built relationships at the Queen Vic Market and started representing more Aboriginal Artists from Victoria.
Over the following years, I worked in the desert and had the opportunity to build stronger relationships with Aboriginal Desert Artists, so I began representing them too.

My ArtYarramunua Gallery (a new window will open if you click the link) came into being in Melbourne, Australia and I continue to represent these incredibly talented artists from all around Australia.
I’m also passionate about helping Aboriginal kids by providing a safe place for them to gather in the city, learn skills they can use and get to meet other kids in a warm friendly environment - I am currently setting up the Yarramunua Foundation for these kids.
